10 days of consistent relief with just one dose per day for once daily management of symptoms in adults. These tablets are a selective
on causing less frequent vomiting or stomach discomfort. Chronic management with Esomeprazole can also address symptoms like pain in the chest such as heartburn. Chronic use with
a maintenance dose of 20mg is recommended for most patients. Beyave the twice daily tablet in our mouth and let it dissolve in water for a few minutes before swallowing. It is safe to assume that frequent heartburn is a symptom rather than a side effect of Nexium 24HR Once Daily Dosing as 20mg is the recommended dose. To minimize stomach irritation, take it twice daily with a glass of water.
Directions for Use
Take one tablet daily with or without food. The first tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. Continue to take them for the full prescribed period. Do not increase or decrease the dosage without the doctor's approval.
Warnings
Do not use to treat an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia - BPH). Do not use Nexium 24HR Once Daily Dosing if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients in this tablet. This medicine may cause an allergic reaction, which may include rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing, or severe stomach/vomiting symptoms. Stop using this medicine and call your doctor right away if you have a rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), swelling in the arms/ legs (especially of the face), and shortness of breath.
The common side effects associated with Nexium 24HR Once Daily Dosing are headache, nausea, dyspepsia (indigestion), and dizziness. However, these side effects are usually mild and go away on their own during treatment with Nexium 24HR Once Daily Dosing.
